If you are the owner of the parking lot, you have the ability to have the vehicle towed, however, not being the owner of the vehicle itself there is a system established to obtain the property legally which is covered under Florida Statutes 713.78 ~ Liens for recovering, towing, or storing vehicles and vessels.

The below website will provide you with more information.

Best wishes.

If you take something of value and convert it to your own use it's theft. And if it is valued at $299.00 + it's a felony. (Minimum 3 years in State Prison, do you think its worth it?)

Why don't you just go on line or down to your local used auto parts yard and leave other people's belongings alone.

As far as towing it away did it ever occur to you that someone is watching to see who comes to get the car and charge them storage fees? DA!

you are stealing the car. You need to find the owner of the parking lot, let them have it impounded and sent to a impound yard who will then end up owning the car and can sell you the parts.

Does the vehicle belong to you? If it doesn't, than it is theft. Regardless if it is abandoned, it is not your property. It becomes the property of the city.

That's the law where I work in PA, but it may be different in Florida.
