Thoses who don't belive in god are godless and wretched. I can only hope that they will one day repent their sins and open their heart to the Lord while there is still yet hope for their salvation!

Hi
Great question. I think that many people use "I don't believe in God" Tag to generally. For me I certainly don't per scribe to the idea of a personified deity that's is human like and conscious of our actions, or is involved in our out come. The factual history and lineage of such belief can actually be tracked and documented to when it was actually invented. Eastern religions are closer to what i feel. Its not about heaven or hell. which i don't think either exists. Not believing in a rule making deity does not mean that such a person does not have a strong moral base or ethics. Some people find this things within themselves and not a book of man written rules(ex.. Bible.. Koran etc..) I envy the conviction that the faithful have and do not think that anyone who uses their faith as a guideline for good is doing anything wrong.. But Good does not only come from faith

I'm sure most non-believers wonder from time to time if there is a god of some sort. For that matter, I often wonder whether we're living in a simulation produced by aliens, or by the descendants of the human beings we're simulating, or whatever. Personally, I often wonder in particular if there is a god, but an imperfect one (or, indeed, several imperfect ones). And if there is any imperfect god, is it more or less intelligent than us?
There are so many possibilities wondering about this kind of thing can take us to. I also suspect that more believers wonder if there isn't a god than would admit it.

Sure I've thought about "God" . I went to church all of my early life. This question keeps popping up, but there's more to it than you suspect. It's not just a matter of belief in God or no belief in god.
Did you ever wonder if you're worshipping the right god ? Sure, you "know" that if there is a God, he has to be the one that you worship = = = not necessarily. Whichever religion you believe in, there are five billion people who disagree with you. Can that many be wrong, and you right ????

I am a non believer of organized religion. I once was a Christian until I discovered that the bible is false. Since their religion is based on the bible, along with Judaism, and Islam they are all false by default.
I do believe that there is a god, but not a supernatural being that involves his self in the daily lives of humans. I believe that god is a an energy force, source or creation, human consciousness not the bible god.

I don't believe and I don't disbelieve. I'm not confidant in proof either way but I probably lean more towards the non-existant side. I'm content with finding out when I die. I'm a good person because it is the right thing to do not so I get something out of it when I kick the bucket.
I think there are too many religions for one to be right especially since a lot of what you believe is how you are raised. Incidentally I was raised in a religion and decided religion is not for me.
I think it's natural to wonder if there is one just as I'm sure believers sometimes wonder if there isnt one.
I don't think people who believe are wrong, there are perfectly entitiled to their beliefs. I can't stand people who push it on me though-yuck!

Your analogy isn't apt. enable's try it this variety: You: The bomb is falling on Oct.18th, anybody evacuate. human beings rush around like loopy, yet they evacuate the area in time. Then the bomb fails to drop. After the bomb scare, it is what you would be able to declare: You: nicely, no guy would know the hour or the day, yet have faith me, that bomb is going to drop quickly. Evacuate. Others: Yeah, yeah, that's what you pronounced final time. Wacko. You: do not scoff like the sinners scoffed at Noah. some time is coming. Others: while? You: 2012, some think of. Others: Yeah yeah, that's what you pronounced approximately 2000. extremely, have not you human beings been awaiting this bomb for 2000 years, from the time the bomb became into first lifted in the heavens above us. You: i'm attempting to save you out of love. Others: And what if we don't want to be stored? what is going to take place? You: nicely, i'm going to save attempting to cajole you, even to the factor of quite getting into your face approximately it, yet have self assurance me, that's on your individual good.

Oh, there could be a god. I offer the atheist's wager, good sir.
A god may exist who will reward disbelief or punish belief. In the absence of clear knowledge of what if anything will benefit us hereafter it is better to concentrate on improving conditions here. You should live your life and try to make the world a better place for your being in it, whether or not you believe in God. If there is no God, you have lost nothing and will be remembered fondly by those you left behind. If there is a benevolent God, he may judge you on your merits and not just on whether or not you believed in him.

Well done phrasing that in a respectful way.
I do think about it, but you see, I'm an atheist who is also a Taoist. I believe in the Tao and that deities are merely symbols and metaphors for certain kinds of energy. If I ever believed in a god, it would have the qualities of the Tao, so it amounts to the same.

I have been a non-believer since I was about seven years old. I trust in logic and science. In fact, I think there might even be a genetic predisposition to faith.
I think some religious concepts are fine, the golden rule, for instance, some make no sense to me.
If there is a god, well then I would argue that he/she/it made me the way I am.

The existence of God can't be proven and the probability is the same as flipping a coin into the air. No one knows for sure so it is left up to the individual to believe or not to believe. We all have Freedom of Choice to select our beliefs.
