You can have your children christened if you haven't been but the godparents have to be christened to fill that role in the sacrament. If you are having a baby christened & you aren't, you can be christened during that ceremony as well. Talk to the church. But if you aren't going to raise the children in the church, then why do it?

I think it depends on the Church, but from personal experience; yes, God parents have to be christened themselves!

In the case of a baptism, godparents must be committed Christian believers within the family of the church, and they must be sufficiently well-connected to the family of the child to be able to exercise the responsibilities they undertake in the service. They must be baptised and confirmed (unless they are members of a church which doesn’t have confirmation).
Clergymen ask parents questions before they bring their baby to be baptised and there is a distinct possibility that a clergyman would refuse to go ahead if you were not able to show that you were sincere in bringing the child up in the Christian faith. The fact that you hadn't been baptised yourself would not help matters! I think that it lies within the discretion of the individual clergyman, however.

Technically no ,since you are saying you will raise this child as a Christine in a Christ like environment .
I don't care what church it is ,People created religion not God .And what was from the flesh is not as important as is what comes from the Spirit .So the answer is yes you can be
a great parent .
But the church helps us greatly with unity also.:)

Yes, but don't tell the church, but why bother, why not let them make the choice when their older, most people only have their chidren christened because its the thing to do with the crown they mix with, or the family want it, just make sure its want you want

In my church anyone who hasn't been christened is not allowed to enter the church itself, therefore I'm assuming a mother would not be allowed to christen her children if she herself has not been christened

If you agree to uphold the tenets of the Anglican faith, then as a non-Christian you can have your baby baptised. You cannot however be a godparent if you are not a Christian.
