I like all of them! They are all so different and tasty on different occasions and moods. Bu really I love Moscatell, its a Moscato wine from Greece. This wine is like a shot of Mediterranenan sunshine into your blood stream. Reccomend!

I have a lot of Pinot in my cellar, but I also have cabs, french wines, and big italian wines. I don't discrimminate against any red grape (except maybe a cheap merlot). My nightly drinking wines have been shirazes lately, just because such good ones can be had for under $20. When I'm out for dinner, I tend to lean towards a Barolo, Chianti, or Barbarecso. When I cook good meals at home, we'll do either a nice CA Cab or a Oregon Pinot.

It really depends on what I'm having with it. My personal go-to is Reisling, but here are some of my favorites in the some of the other catagories:
Ecco Domani Merlot
7 Deadly Zins Zinfandel
V Sattui Chardonnay
Tintara Estate Shiraz
Bonny Doon Moscato Di Asti

Chardonnay anytime, shiraz if I'm feeling more lively, cabernet when I'm feeling pensive, champagne if I'm festive. No idea why these patterns developed. Overall favorite is shiraz. Coppola brand is excellent for any of the wines. I prefer cava to champagne, whatever looks good at the store.

I love port, sandemans tawny or rudy are good. But they are not for drinking with a meal and even more than a glass is too much.
For general drinking I like shiraz. It's easy to drink and a very middle of the road wine. You can also get good shiraz at a low price like Barefoot, Little Penguin, or Lindeman's.

Personally I prefer "le Chambiers Industrial Grade Gourmet Floor Solvent", vintage 2005. T'was a very good year, and helps with my efforts at spontaneousl human combustion.

My absolute favorite is Syrah. If anyone can get their hands on a bottle of Qupe Syrah, it will change your life. Very, very good. :)
