My mate steve met a girl off the internet last friday night. They went out for a few drinks. He said that she wasnt really his type but he thought she seemed a nice enough girl. However, within a few hours they were having a shag in his car. I think he is a dirty dog (still love u thou) and i dont think the girl is any better either

Do you know what I think neither are dirty dogs but both are very immature folk especially the girl for dating a bloke she only met on the internet and him for shagging someone just for the sake of a bit of rough.
I think they have had a lucky escape...from being raped or murdered but have they had a lucky escape from STD only time will tell or was it protected sex.
Tell you pal to take rain check.
How little we value ourselves these days...it really does beggar belief.

Sure, why not? I think the question can be reversed and asked "Can a woman respect a man if he has sex with her on the first date?" Why would your friend want to have sex with a woman anyway who "really is not his type" other than for the obvious reason?
Obviously, waiting till you get to know each other is probably better, and makes sex much more intimate and more than just an act, but when people decide to have sex with each other is up to them and does not, in my opinion, cause any reason to respect them less.

I always like to make a man wait - till i know him a bit better - i like to make him really really want me - if he just wants a shag then he wont hang around for very long otherwise he will wait - i'm a lil bit of a tease i will fumble around on the sofa, feel he's ready for action then oh i have to go see you friday - a bit like that - its always worth the wait though!!!

I suppose it depends on the guy involved, there's some nasty mysogionists out there, but there's some good fella's too.

well, depends on the guy
if he is happy knowing that it doesn't take much effort to cop off with the girl then he'll be wise enough to know that others would have been there and doen that before him then fair enough
for some though, sex is a special special thing and shouldn't be indulged in such a reckless recreational fashion
i'd have serious issues being with a girl who had had several one night stands
each to their own though....

if he had sex with her doesn't mean he doesn't respect her...many people consider sex this act which when you commit results in people not respecting you...that's not true...there are some jerks who use a girl just for their pleasure but they are many who still respect a woman even after they sleep with her...

Listening to lots of my sons mates,I would say no.
They all say "she's alright for a sh** but no way would you marry her if she put out right away".
To me they are no better than her but thats the way it is.
