You can rent small white pillars and put pots of flowers on them, tons of white twinkle lights and topiary's with twinkle lights and silk flowers of your wedding colors intertwined, strands of silk flower garland and tulle wrapped around posts/beams. Hope this helps. Best of luck and congratulations!

a fun decorating theme i saw once was potted herbs at an outdoor wedding... just plain white painted pots with different herbs planted in each. the wedding i went to had them set in bunches at the end of every other row of chairs, and then a few bunched together on each reception table.

each place setting also had a tiny white potted herb with a pretty ribbon around it and the person's name written on the ribbon.

you might think that all that green wasn't what you had in mind, but the bride and groom used lavender and yarrow, and chives have pretty purplish flowers too. it was very understated but very classy. the best part was that it didn't take away from the scenic beauty of the location!

good luck :)

You could do some kind of flower garlands with ribbon - where the whole thing isnt flowers, but a flower or leaves tied in every so often. These could even hang down straight from something. Ill look for a pic and try to post a link to show.

.....I had a beautiful out door wedding...we had a red carpet, rose petals were scattered all over the ground (you can buy big bags of them direct from the florist wholesale shops they are much cheaper than going through a florist), I had twenty chairs for Immediate family and the elderly or pregnant women to sit which were decorated in organza white chair covers with silk bows at the back. At the end of the red carpet, where we said our vowels were two topiary trees. We had a signing table dressed with white organza and swagging with two covered chairs with bows. We also had a trio of musicians with flute, violin and cello....and lots of bubbles that the guests were each supplied with.

My brother just had an outdoor wedding and it was awsome. One word of advice i have is- make sure people can hear you! either have mic's set up or speak really loud.

My brothers wedding was on a windy day and we could barly hear what anyone was saying. -

You can release white doves just as it is announced to your groom that he may kiss the bride (let the kids in the family do it....They'll love it & doves are cheap)

I would keep it natural since it is outdoors. Flowers and plants. Paper lanterns or luminiaries.
