I am a survivor. My childhood was non existent. I was physically, sexually and mentally abused from the age of two. The grown-up that I have become is a reflection of the child I was. The fact that I am still here is a sign that I am a survivor.

Point to my ex husband and cry out: "You married THAT?????" Squeals with laughter. Then: "Wow, your kid looks just like me!!!!"

I would hope that the child I was would at least see how much stronger I have become since I was such a whiny and clingy mommy's girl when I was a child.

Amazed that I was able to overcome the things we went through together. Proud that I have been able to take those things and learn how to be a great mom and wife. Humble that there are still things that need to be changed. Excited about the great things still to come!

Great question!!!! Made me really think and see how positive things really are in my life! Thanks so much!

What a great question. Thanks.

He'd think I was successful, but not enough regular down time to have fun. He'd also tell his career guidance person she was wrong.

Well, Peter Pan, she would probably think "I thought I was going to be a lawyer!" But then she'd also think I made a cool kid (my daughter) to play with.
