i was in an accident last night. i was not at fault. my car is registered in NH where no insurance is required. i got into the accident in MA. the guy who hit me has insurance. the police arrived. all i got was an accident report and the number of the tow company. i can't drive my car out of the lot bc i believe it is totalled. what am i supposed to do now? please help!

The accident report should list the other drivers information. Contact his insurance company and see if they will pay for repairs/replacement.

Contact the other insurance company about fixing the damages to your vehicle.

Then go out and get insurance. It may not be required in NH but it is required the minute you leave that state.

I'm no longer a cop, but it surely feels like he was once at fault for the lane difference. Being in a blind spot has not anything to do with it. He will have to have seemed previous to relocating. It is authorized to move a automobile at the proper in a multilane hindrance

You have to fix or repair your car out of your own pocket. Since you are uninsured and had an accident in a no-fault state there's nobody to claim from except yourself.

BTW, it might be legal (although exceptionally STUPID) to drive in NH without insurance but it is NOT legal to drive in MA without it.

Bottom line: You lose!

Tow it to the scrap yard and see if they'll give you anything for it. Buy a new car.
