I didn't enjoy high school a whole lot. But I knew I wanted to finish and I did. I didn't have problems with the actual purpose of school (learning), I didn't like the social aspect of it. However, I pushed on and graduated near the top of the class! Just keep going. You'll regret it if you drop out now.

I hated high school, all four years. I was pushed around a little in grade 10, but there was NO way I was going to drop out! High school is hard if you don't have a good social life. College was better, but now that I'm done with all of it I love life a whole lot more!

Its normal to hate high school, but you need to stop and think about what you need to do to further yourself, and think about who you want to be in the future. I'm going to be honest with you, sometimes high school is not the best solution for everyone. There are alot of other paths for you to take that could lead to bigger and better things. Take me for an example, I dropped out of school in the 9th grade illegally at 14yrs old. For a while I was really depressed and I found myself working under the table at places like Dunkin Donuts, and Applebee's. When I turned 16 I decided to turn things around so I went to Job Corps --got my GED and vocational training. When I completed the program I felt like I could do anything, so I enrolled in college and now I'm only 17 and finished my first semester and I have a great job. I feel like I'm ahead of the game because I dropped out so young and turned around so young. If you hate high school so much, it's really not necessary to be there. People act like it's the end of the world of you drop out--but as long as your doing something with yourself then it is only the begining. Trust

Highschool's what you make of it... this is the time in ur life where you can be who u want and not have any worries, because after that, so much is expected from you. the real world doesnt usually include fun relationships, great friends, and no stress. Sure things seem stressful, but in the future u'll look back and say... omg, i wish i could go back

I'd have to agree with Mike D there are to many kids these days that whine and cry how their life is unfair. Sure life is unfair, but you need to just get use to it or look at it in a positive way just to make it seem a little more enjoyable.

High School was one of the best times of my life - kids these days are way to "emo" and stupid to enjoy it. I'd love to see these wannabe dropouts try and survive in the real world. High School is a time to celebrate your youth - not to whine about how life is unfair.

High School is awful, but stick it out and you will be ok. Every teenager in the world is miserable and once you get to college you will love it again. I hated high school, but once I was in college I love it.

I hated High School when I was there, but now I miss it sometimes. Shows how miserable my life has turned out, I suppose!

No, I liked high school for the most part. Of course, that was 40 years ago.
