Do you mean amphetamine psychosis? It's not really schizophrenia as in drugs don't make schizophrenia, but can cause psychotic episodes (positive symptoms of schizophrenia) or even jump start the schizophrenia of someone predisposed to it.

We're not just talking cystal meth, but crack/cocaine, estasy and even ritalin can cause psychosis.

Um, schizophrenics shouldn't take any amphetamines. A long term side effect is nervousness and mild psychosis, simple things like ocd. (i would know). I'm not sure what you're asking, but I hope that helped.....

well, they can become schizophrenic, for sure...because the poison the put into their bodies,...eventually seeps in to the brain, and does permanent damage...many times, Chrystal Meth is cut with Drano
