Depends on the speed of your processor, the amount of memory in the computer, the amount of free space on the hard drive. Whether are saving to the same drive or a different drive, the quality of the original file, the quality of the file to which you are saving it, and the software you are using.

About the only way to tell is to do it, and time how long it takes. Then you will have a benchmark for future conversions.

For a file that size, you are probably looking and hour to an hour and a half on a decent computer. Longer on an older PC.

it depends on the processing power of ur processor and also ur ram.
it took me 4 hours to convert 300mb video into avi format on a 800 mhz processor and 256 mb ram..
for a dual core processor and 1 gb ram the time required for converting 700mb data drastically reduces to about 45 minutes or so..

Depends on many things.
Software you are using, some are more efficient and quicker
Your PC, the faster a PC, the quicker it works.
Initial and final file sizes.
If you are doing other trhings on the PC at same time
Best way to find out is to convert one and time it
