I think it is pointless to categorise a thing as 'evil', and leave it at that. When someone classifies a thing as 'evil', it is easy to write them off. Yes, people do evil things, probably most people, but all can be redeemed and changed. It is this that gives hope for the world/future.
If a thing/person is 'evil', look to see how they can be changed.

It is what SOME (a very small percent) of it's followers do that is evil.
Western culture just paints a picture of Islam being evil because it 's not what it's use to.
There are juast as many Christians, Athiest, Jews, Budhhist etc. that do do evil deeds but you just can't blame the religion.
