FD lenses will be limited to FD mount Canon bodies - i.e. the older, manual bodies and will not work on the EOS bodies. There is one small exception, however - you can purchase a T adaptor that will allow the lenses to be attached to the "new" bodies (and if you look hard enough, you can find adaptors that ould let you fit an "old" Nikon lens to a "new" Canon body (and vice versa...)). Of course, the "old" FD lens will still be a "manual" lens and will not autofocus and may have limited Program functionality. Check bhphoto.com or Adorama.com for the adaptor.

No, they are not. Your Canon lens will only fit Canon cameras. Each manufacturer has its own kind of lens fitting. The only ones that are interchangeable are Nikon/Sigma/Kodak DSLRS as the last two use (or used int he case of Kodak) what are in effect Nikon bodies.

(Sorry, I will not email my response)

Your lens will only fit older, non-autofocus Canons. You may be able to buy adapters that would allow you to connect it to another camera. Check with bhphotovideo.com.
