Its highly unlikely it will work. In order to run a program like that it needs to be installed. So unless you can e-mail every single folder and file that is contained on the installation disc they won't be able to successfully install it.
However if you can make an image of installation CD and e-mail that and if the receiving side has the correct software it can use that.
However I have never come across an e-mail client that would allow an attachment of that size.
So really unless you know what your doing the answer is no.

I'm going to have to go with a big NO on that one.

First and foremost, it would be illegal to send something that's not open source or freeware.
Secondly, it's just too large a program. I honestly don't think any e-mail services would allow a 50+ MB attachment.

EDIT: Even if you do break up the program into smaller chunks (which is very easy to do, I guess), the other person would still have to edit their registry to get it to work. The computer wouldn't necessarily recognize that the program existed. It may be also missing key files that are installed on your computer in other locations that it won't have for the other person. While he/she might be able to find those files online, it would still be somewhat hard to get them all, and even then the program might not function right.

Yes. Break the program into smaller size and sent in email as attachment and then join back when the other person downloaded the email. You can find such freeware on the Internet or www.download.com
