Hallo Meerkat,

Apologies for the spelling thing in the South African category the other day..... Your question started as: Zulu??????

Anyway, my motto is:

You can't prevent what you can't predict....

I've felt so stupid a couple of times in my life about things that happened to or with me, that I felt sick to the stomach, this is my motto which helps me overcome stupid things that got me under!

I like a lot of sayings etc they are either from songs, what I have heard others say or phrases I believe could be inspiring to others.

It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

There is always two sides to every story.

You cannot have your cake and eat it!!.

Flower power or Peace!!!! ( I know I am a total hippie!!! lol)

All you need is Love.

Know yourself!!

No one is perfect!!

Listening is the key to knowledge ( I made that one up lol)

but my favorite is of course a quote by Albert Einstein......but I have adopted this as my own personal saying........

I think therefore I am!!!!

This was a good question!! x

Lmao, at least you are honest about your spelling. I have no idea what you said in your details, wollongong =)).....

I like the simple things, less is more, yes?

So I have always loved The Beatles simplicity with words, and my motto is, "Let it be."

If I have to choose one it would be "Onward and upward!"

I've faced some adversities in my life, been up, been down, sometimes way down, and I choose to focus on the positives.

I believe we all experience things sooner or later that we wish we had done differently in, or can see a better wisdom than how we acted or re-acted in the past. There is no use in banging our heads against walls, kicking ourselves, going on pity parties, wallowing in victim mode, or regretting the past. The best thing we can do is learn, live above the circumstances (not under them), focus on what lies ahead, and go forward... onward... and upward!

I've always used this one as my life's guideline even if it's not my own quotation :

"I'm not agree with you, but I will fight with all my forces to defend your ideas"

laugh it off, avoid the bullshit, take chances

Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things.
It works on so many levels.
