I do, I love Jesus, I'm a huge fan.....He is bigger than any American Idol contestant...lol......
I love Jesus, I would move, just as you described, but that is the beauty of loving such a perfect and wonderful, amazing God like He is, He won't ask me to foresake my family, He wants so much to make it better, to establish relationships within each other so that we can encourage each other to learn to love Jesus more.....
My guess is that God might be calling you to missionary work, if He keeps putting the leaving of family on your heart. I know that would be rough, but you are never, ever alone, Jesus is always there with you.....
God bless you brother,,,,,love,
your sis in God, hope to hear what you have done, soon, k??? :-)

All the true believers love Jesus with all their heart, mind and soul. All people of the world would confess to love Jesus - they consider him to be quite a nice guy. What they fail to realise, however, is that he was more than just a nice - and he came for more than just to give mankind good teachings, perform miracles, etc.
He came to establish the Kingdom that will last forever - His Kingdom. He laid down some very strict requirements conerning those requiring to be part of this Kingdom. What is also noteworthy is that he is the one who did the selection. He is still the one who does the selection!!!!!!
So, yes all those believers that are selected by him to be part of his Kingdom, would leave their mother, father, sisters, friends, children, possessions, property and all they have for the sake of following Christ's call on their life.

Me! I have done it many times and would do it a thousand times again. My life has been transformed into the incredible just as I give it up for His call. I am following His will, seeing my destiny and living the dream!
The reason why Jesus said this isnt because its wrong to have these things, I believe family is the most important thing in life, and He has a destiny for them too, but because if your heart doesnt completely lie with Him, the devil will use anything he can against you to break your spirit.
The devil is a thief and a smart one at that. He wants to rob you of what is rightfully yours, dont let him! He is scum. He wants to hold you back and not realise your true potential.
Everthing else can let you down, money fails, people can hurt you, discourage you and distract you, but God who is Love, never fails and will never fail you. Trust Him, follow Him faithfully and consistantly (the hard part - it doesnt come without heartbreak) and you will taste an extraordinary destiny with God(the good part). You will have a life that even the sceptics and cynics cannot argue. God bless you sincerely.

The new commandment Jesus gave us is to love Him and others as He has loved us (John 13:34). We can love because God first loved us (1 John 4:19). We can love with the love of God because God's love has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit (Rom 5:5). We love because we are grounded and rooted in God's love when we have known and experienced the width and length and depth and height of God's love (Ep 3:17,18). In this age of grace God empowers us with His love to love Him and not by our efforts of using our own heart, mind and soul as under the Old Covenant. In Luke 14:26 Jesus use the exaggeration of leaving father, mother, etc to make the point that anyone who wants to be His disciple must demonstrate total commitment to Him alone. Those who serve Jesus whole-heartedly know that it is the best thing that can happen to them and they would want nothing else..

I have read this verse before in my life and thought it was never possible and couldn't really understand how Jesus could tell that.
But though all around us mattered, I kept seeking God or I needed true love, deliverance .. and God has changed my heart and soul, that I love Him very much. The good news behind it is, when u follow Jesus who is with God our creator, He can change the lives of our loved ones too.
"Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you".. I am seeing this happen. Its better to trust God our creator than man who does not know about himself properly.

as a Jew I'd like to say that JEW4MESSIAH is speaking on behalf of a very very small fracture of Jews who are very very OFF THEIR ROCKERS
you cant be a Jew and believe that jesus was, is and will ever be the messiah. the two religions cannot coexist together.
I respect Christians opinions and views and think that as long as they believe in a higher power and want to lead a moral life then that's super. But I will not stand by as this JEW4MESSIAH tarnishes the name of Jews everywhere.
I hope no one here thinks that his skewed views hold any weight at all here or in the Jewish religion.

I got kicked out of the house when I was 19 because my family was embarrassed that I was preaching Jesus at the local hangouts. I've had people try to run me over and put a knife to my throat. I've had people vow to kill me because I turned them in for doing drugs while cults cast spells on me when I was in the 82nd Airborne. I've done undercover work for the DEA. I've been involved with youth ministries for 15 years. Started sister chapter for Campus Crusade for Christ at college. Street witnessing ministry for two years. Started local discussion group with open forum for unbelievers and believers to discuss issues. I currently sold my house and moved the wife and kids and went to half the pay to attend seminary. This is some of it there's so much more because the Christian life is to rich.
I love Jesus. If he's not worth dying for he's not worth living for!!

yes I do
all those things are conditional-my mom said she was haveing a Jewish funeral for me when I came to Jesus-yet he reconciled us and now we are best friends-Jesus has the best way when we follow it
this is how I came to love Jesus heart mind and soul=a covenant is a formal agreement made between two
Judaism began a covenant with God
God due to our rejection of the covenant made a new covenant -Jeremiah 31:31 ff verse 31 and following
"I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel not like the one I made with Moses.. and you will personally be my people and I will be your God."
how we get the new covenant=
simply believe in the Messiah as promised in Isaiah too.
in a triunity -like h2o -water steam & ice but always h2o God is always God he just has 3 forms
"Let us make man in our image" Genesis-plurality of the God head -Echod is a compound one. Elohim =God is plural
Messianic Jews -are Jews that have come to know the Messiah-as promised in the Jewish scriptures, Isaiah 9:6 Unto us a child is born a son is given, and he will be mighty God, and the prince of peace.
we believe the Jewish scriptures that God would manifest himself in a person, and also as Spirit two as our Scriptures tell.
Other Jewish people reject Isaiah and Moses too required blood sacrifice to make atonement for sins Leviticus 17:11
Isaiah 52:13-53:12 " He will be exalted. To whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? He will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins."
with the temple gone and no way other than the promised messiah to be forgiven from sins-some made new religions, based on the teachings of men and still called some of them Judaism. pray for me and them.
now Yeshua/Jesus is my Messiah, and best friend-because I believed Moses, Isaiah and Him. Messiah says, "I love you and knock on your heart door to come in, deliver from sin (even one lie) and be your friend when you ask me in." Revelation 1:1 & 3:19&20th verses
I prayed "Show me the truth."
then "I believe you Messiah, I am sorry for my sins, come into my heart and help me, be my friend, amen."
Life is wonderfull now having the Messiah in my heart-I searched after my bar Mitzvah and finally believed my Jewish Scriptures and the Messiah.
have a great day and good question. yes we believe, David

It's simple those who love him and keep his commandments and obey him out of love and faith and if that is the case, then there is no worry because behold there's a ram in the bush..
So if you know God love God obey God with a humble heart
just like Abraham you know God will always provide a ram in the bush...Amen
