I know that these cans are sold in NY, but why are they specifically labeled "New York"? I haven't seen this on cans sold in other states. Thanks!

It may be a Sept. 11 memorial type can? The company which markets Pepsi is based in New York as well.

It`s probably some kind of New York advertising. In the U. P. of michigan the lids are gold. Must be some code or something to identify the factory.
