If the bible says there is only one god, why do some religions say there are other gods?

So the bible says there is only one god....

Why do other religions say there god is the only god?

So are we just meant to take one persons opinion over another?

Are all religions just contradictory? Is this because they were made on different civilizations where they had no idea that each religion would eventually become conflicting?

Now it just undermines the value of what is said in the bible.

Is one mans religion or belief any more valued than anothers?

Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

Well the Quran, Bible and the Torah all are speaking about the same god and that is the God of Abraham, as for other religions they are pagans who where not believers. Even though Hindus believe in many gods they actually all represent one god but in different forms. Theory is that all civilizations came from just one.. maybe it is conflicting because people who left to form new civilizations, left because they had conflicting views with their civilization they originated from. The bible has been changed throughout time. If you see there are many versions of the bible and people are always making new versions. The Quran however if you research is the same now as it was from the beginning with no change in the wording or meaning.
It is good that you have many questions the best bet is for you to do research and find out what is real and not what you believe or don't. if Muslims revere Jesus a lot then why do say his teachings are lies. Jesus is the son of God and the saviour of mankind yet Muslims say God has no son. As I have observed to some different person this evening God announces Jesus to be his son . Mat 3:16 once Jesus became baptised, he went up out of the water. At that second heaven became opened, and he observed the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lights on him. Mat 3:17 And a voice from heaven suggested, “it really is my Son, whom i recognize; with him i'm properly delighted.” And the verse you in hassle-free words quoted is conversing about the Holy Spirit .

Say if your a Pagan, I don't know to much about that besides they worship more than one God, they believe what they believe, and if they are firm in their belief of more than one God, meaning they don't believe in the Bible, they are going to value their religion and beliefs over Christianity.
