Unanimous means they all voted for it.
Split means half for it, and half against it.

There are 3 judges scoring a boxing match. A unanimous decision is when all 3 judges score one fighter as the winner of the match. A spit decision is when 2 of the 3 judges score one fighter as the winner and the third scores the other fighter as the winner.

There are three judges for a fight. If all three of them decide one boxer was better than another then its a unanimous decision. If two of the judges thought one fighter was best and the third thought that the losing fighter was better, then its a split decision.

If all three judges score one boxer higher thats a unanimous decision,but if two score one higher and one scores the other guy higher then its a split decision.

UD - Is all three judges are in agreement.

SD - Is when two of the three judges agree.

Or if I am right if one judge calls a draw while the other two agree Then I think it is a MD.
