I am a college student, and I am horrible at math. I just have a simple question, what is my grade in the class if we are graded where tests are weighted 40% and quizzes weighted 60%. My quiz scores are:
71%, 92%, 68%, 88%, 85%,70%,79%
My test scores (I've only taken a midterm so far) 102% with curve and I am about to take a final exam

I get 84.7 (you haven't taken the final yet, so I added the quizzes, divided them by 7, and then multiplied by 60%, which gave me 47.4, added 102x20% (20.4), which gave me 67.8, then divided the whole by 80%, because you only have 80% of your total possible grade so far. That gave me 84.7%. This assumes that the midterm and final are weighted equally. In my book, an 84.7% is a B+.

You have an average of 88.2%, which should be an A, depending on the result of your final exam.
