does a .cdr format work on a MAC ?

i am buying a cd which has a .cdr format....will it open on a MAC ?

Tricky one.
There is a version of Corel Draw availble for the Mac. I use it and is not a very satisfying experience.
You could try and import the .cdr file into Adobe Illustrator . Again the version conflict could also lead to some funny issues.
