My signal keeps goin in and out and it's drivin me up the wall! Everytime I lost a signal my whole computer freezes up until it picks back up a signal again.
I heard that it may have something to do with one of my neighbors having an analog phone but now all I can think about is breaking and entering! lol Please help. You guys gotta help me! lol

Best thing would to buy an range extender. It boosts the power of the signal. Lots and lots of places to buy them.

What you thought you heard was about cordless phones, not analogue ones. Most cordless phones use 2.4Ghz wireless like wireless routers at 802.11g do, so they fight each other and stuff up the signal. Keep the router and your laptop away from cordless phones, large (floor to ceiling) windows or glass sliding doors (that could reflect signals). Keep away from MRI machines (yeah I know, you don't run a doctors surgery but a client of mine had offices above one. You know how long it took me to figure that **** out?). Keep away from the microwave with the laptop, they also put out minor 2.4Ghz interference.

Cordless mice and keyboards interfere with wireless as well, as do bluetooth headsets (or bluetooth devices in general).

Remember, the signal sucks directly above the wireless and directly below it, so if it's on a desk on the 2nd floor and you are on the first directly below where the desk is, move.

And lastly, if it's in a corner, get a directional antenna.
