...is Allah more than willing to hear and answer the prayers of radical muslims than Yahweh does in listening to the prayers of Americans in view of the recent disasters and calamities happening in the U.S.?

Not meaning to be offensive to anyone, but just something to spark a discussion about in R&S in terms of spirituality.

Peace!

Well, they are the same God but yeah...I know what you are getting at....a very good question.

I love the religious nut-jobs on TV who can barely contain themselves when there is an Earthquake in Iran or somewhere like that...screaming that it's God's punishment etc....but when there is a Hurricane in the US they are strangely silent on God's involvement.

If you do believe in God (I personally do...but I'm quite ready to admit that I there is a chance I could be wrong) I don't see how anyone could come to the conclusion that He is any way an interventionist.

I believe we are in a time of disaster that has made us seek God even more. Unfortunately some have more radical ways but in all God has no need to punish due to one praying more. There are a lot of people in fear that their God is stronger. It is not their God but their unity that causes our panic. We all have a connection with God and studies have shown when we pray more we can reduce crime and put an end to these massacres. Watch "What the Bleep do We Know?"

GOD is one whether u call it Yahweh or Allah. The word Allah was used even before Islam among arab for God. You an play mischief with the word Allah . But in case of God u can play mischief like God-father, Godess etc. So, we use Allah while talking about God. In holy quran its written that " Say: "Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Neither speak thy Prayer aloud, nor speak it in a low tone, but seek a middle course between."

Al-Qur'an, 017.110 (Al-Isra)

Really..... you hav a lot of guts dear. I dont know about Yahweh , whatever that is. But I know that ALLAH(swt) is the Most Merciful& the Most Forgiving. Itis because that He has mentioned about His mercy all over the Quran n there r soooo many hadiths saying about ALLAH'S mercy.
In one hadith Qudsi, Allah(swt) says that in the beginning of creation ,after he had written everything in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz(Book of Fate) He wrote" My Mercy overpowers My Wrath"
This is one of the best examples for Allah(swt)'s Mercy
May Allah(swt) bless you
Insha Allah

There is only one God. If Allah is a seperate God then Allah is a liar. Allah says he is the God of Abraham and Jesus. I agree with you he most certainly is not. But what would this mean? If allah says he is the God of the Torah and is not that God but a God that came after Muhammad...then Allah could not have created the world therefore Allah is not God and agian Allah becomes a liar.

No, exactly as willing, since the two gods exist exactly as much as each other.
