I've wanted to find out this information for awhile and asked a few other places but yet to find anyone with the answer. This could include an average use in a week or year.

Based on the people I know...there is about 15 of them...the average in a week would be around 15 -28g...so yearly that would be around 27½ oz to 51.3oz times that by say 35 years and you get about 60 to 112 lbs in a lifetime...which also equals over $500,000.

Well if you smoke an eighth every week, that would be 54 eighths in a year which equals 7 ounces. 7 ounces times lets say 40 years is 280 ounces divided by 16 equals approximately 17.5 pounds of marijuana for an average pot smoker. heavy pot smokers probably smoke like 50-100 pounds in a lifetime. I on the other hand probably will only smoke like 5 pounds in my lifetime.

~Well, if your average smoker smokes a joint a day, starting on his 16th bithday and has a life expectancy of 72 years (leaving him with 56 to go) he'll do about 20,440 joints. Of course, if your average smoker does 3 joints a day. you'll have to triple that. But if he slips in a bong here and there, that'll screw up the average beyond recoggnition. Now if you're asking about grams, ounces. pounds and keys, that will depend on how big and how tight your average smoker rolls his joints. Then if you decide you want to supplement the grass with booze or other dope, will that be in conjunction with, in addition to or in lieu of the the pot? Come back when you can define your terms and set some parameters. Meanwhile, I'll go take a toke or two and start counting again.
