I have been taking it and have the weirdest dreams lately

This is very common. I have used many different sleep aids over the years, both OTC and prescription. I have had this same experience with some of the meds. Some meds will give a warning that you may experience vivid dreams. If the dreams are disturbing, you might want to try another sleep aid.

One possible reason for this, in my opinion, is that when you don't get a good night's sleep, you tend not to remember your dreams if you have them. If you are constantly waking during the night, your sleep cycle is disturbed and you may not be sleeping long enough at one time to enter a deep sleep, or REM cycle.

The sleep aid helps one get a good night's deep sleep, possibly for the first time in weeks or months, thus increasing the likelihood of having dreams and remembering them.

If the tylenol PM is helping you sleep, and the dreams are not disturbing to you, i.e. nightmares, you can probably safely continue to use them. The ingredient in one Tylenol PM is the same as taking one benadryl capsule and one extra strength tylenol. Very safe.

Sleep tight, and dream on.

Don't ever take the sleeping pills route!!

1. They will damage your liver big time and you can get into serious health problems.

2. You will get hooked up on them and you won't be able to have a normal life any more if you don't take your pills everyday.

The sleeping pills industry is damaging our health by capitalizing on our ignorance, and by distracting people from effective and natural ways to deal with this problem. I had been taking prescription sleep medications [Ambien] for over 5 years. It stopped working and I simply took more. Still did not work. Nights were very difficult - medication put me to sleep but I would wake up after 2–3 hours with a strong sympathetic response (fast pulse, pounding heartbeat, wide awake alert). It was a very difficult cycle to break. I was really in bad shape due to lack of sleep.

After years of struggling I was able to cure my insomnia naturally and pretty fast. I followed the Sleep Tracks sleep optimization program, here is their official web -site if you want to take a look: http://www.insomniacure.net

Ohhh..and Good Luck!

I've tried several sleep aids, including prescriptions, and have had awful, weird dreams and many horrific nightmares, even. It depends on the person,I think. But if you're having those kinds of dreams I doubt they'll stop. Sometimes the side effects warning will say "May cause 'vivid' dreams". Vivid,my ***! You need to just try something else if it's effecting you that way.

Yes. I've found if I cut the dosage in half (one pill), I sleep fine and don't have such weird dreams.
