Hi,

I want to tone my sides (the love handle area!!) im slim and fit but want to loose just a couple of pounds before my holiday in 3 weeks, so im doing my usual healthy eating and excersize. But i just want really nice tonned sides, bum, tum and inner thigh muscles! Any suggestions on whats the best effective excersize for these?

cycle your carbs. have a low - medium - high carb days then repeat. remember to increase the protein and fat intake on the low and medium carb days. exercise at a high level of intensity for 60-80 minutes 4-6x a week to increase the metabolic rate. drink plenty of water and eat a balanced meal every 3-4 hours. at night cut the carbs and switch to proteins, veggies and healthy fats (nuts, seeds, etc.).

To actually get rid of love handles you have to burn the fat off with cardio. You can't just target an area and lose fat there. That being said, a combo of cardio and core exercises like pilates or yoga.
