I know my heavenly father, and it is not hard to walk hand in hand with him, when you have been tired of being tired, not wanting to do the things of this world, which are the things of Satan is what I am referring to. Life is precious when we live wholesomely, according to God's will and understanding.
Our flesh has to wanto to die to the things of this world, one must want this, because as Christians to be Christ like we are in this world but not from it, so we must accept the things our heavenly father teaches us to do to not be involved in the things of this world that will draw your attention away from our heavenly father to fall short of the glory of Christ.
To know that your name is written in the book of life in heaven, it is to put your trust in our heavenly father.
After all we are human, and will fall short of the glory of Christ when we go back to our old way's and or let the things that Satan has set up, like traps for us to miss out on our oportunities of blessings, something he is good at to put shame and doubt, to make us fall deeper into sin and to miss the oportunity to reunite with our heavenly father in heaven, to miss that oportunity, dont exchange it for pleasure in sin.
So that is why we should not be sleeping for God's return, is to not be living in sin when he comes for his children to be taken home, because the pathway to heaven is narrow, because not everyone applies scriptures into their lives, and live double minded lives is not of God or to judge your neighbor, and not see your own log in your own eye, to be selfish, and scriptures do judge us when God speaks to us, but it is his word not mankind's when it is read to us. How we must be careful to see when he is talking to us directly, not your brother or sister, to you...Time to fix somethings in our lives when the shoe fits us well...
Satan has been defeated. When after all once you have received God as your personal savior, as long as you don't take his name in vain, if you ask for forgiveness he forgives us. We must have faith, believe, and trust in God, Jesus the holy ghost in us to prepare us for the Kingdom of heaven for that coming day for the King's return, whom is the heavenly father the begining and the end, the Alpha and the Omega...
We have to pray and want more of Christ in our lives, to yearn for his glory upon us, to be lifted up when he returns for what belongs to him, his children beloved ones...Peace be with you and may Jesus help you understand how worthy you are, and precious to him, whom that is, the father, (Abba,) the son, (Jesus,) and the holy ghost all in one to live in me and you...
Pray for your salvation, and repent from all your sins, ask for forgiveness, and trust in Jesus, live according to his will, what is pleasing to him. Pray for courage, knowledge and wisdom, for understanding of his law...Know that your name is written in the Holy book of life...

You can never be certain.
I guess you could say it depends on whose interpretation. Some denominations require more works than faith, some require more faith than works, some claim that simply through the grace of god you are saved.
Regardless, if God is love and forgiving then why shouldn’t someone like a serial killer be given the glories of heaven. People think that murder is worse than any other sin? Sin is all the same, it’s all sin.
I know some people are going to say, “ Oh man you can’t be serious that stealing a candy bar I the same as shoplifting a candy bar?” The answer is yes.
All sin is equal and that is not to lower the seriousness of murder, but to raise the seriousness of other sins.
Living a life of goodness is a great start, but not everyone had the pleasure of that kind of lifestyle. That’s why there is repentance. Repenting is simply being sorry for something bad you have done and you make a strong effort to never do it again.

well, if you consider the parable about the wheat and the chaff, I would say that everyone is going, but there are certain parts to everyone that is not needed and will be thrown away (up into the wind with that!)
If you consider the parable of the goats and the sheep, (both are herd animals) there will be probably quite a few God will not like to have near Him. "I do not know you" Maybe 1/2 and 1/2, to my way of thinking.
If you consider the parable of the good seed which is thrown onto the good soil, probably only 1/5 of the people are going to heaven.
So, I don't know the mind of God on this. Perhaps I will pray more in order that we may become enlightened, although the truth may not surface until too late.

we dont go to heaven when we die. the scriptures clearly say as for the living they are conscious that they will die, as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all(ecclesiasties 9:5) Ps 37:11 says the meek ones them selves will posess the earth and they will reside forever apon it.
God is allowing satan a time to prove his case that he is a better ruler (1john 5:19) the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.
when that time is up he will destroy the wicked along with satan. The dead will be resurected not to heaven, but to earth as god origionally intended, and will fulfill gods original purpose, fill the earth, make his earth a living paradise garden as was the garden of eden. Those worshiping god will be resurected to eternal life on earth Rev 21:4 and i will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor out cry nor pain be any more the former things have passed away.
Think of life forever on a perfect earth with no wickedness sickness or death... just a peaceable earth of gods worshipers..... sounds much better hey.... some say how would god resurect? well?? he made us origionally did he not... is it not reasonable that he would give us our body back rather than transform us to a spirit creature and live in heaven>??? heaven is where angels live... humans are designed for the earth

these Scriptures should explain God's plan for restoring what satan temporarily damaged
only a few are "bought from the earth";
God's original purpose for mankind, which He made from the dust of the earth, was to have everlasting life in Eden/Paradise on earth. He will restore that original purpose, and the few who were "bought from the earth" will rule with Christ over that "new earth".

There is no amount of good you can do. There is no way to "earn" your way into the kingdom of heaven. The only way is through Jesus. "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." - Romans 10:9. There is nothing you can do to "earn" salvation. You have to trust God and give your sins over to the one who already died for them.
The reason I believe it specifically says believe in your heart is because many people believe that God and Jesus existed, but they do not truly believe in their heart Jesus is the way, otherwise they would be always trying to do the right thing. Note, I did not say you will always do the right thing. I have had a very strong spiritual experience AFTER I changed my life around and I still make many mistakes. If you really want forgiveness and want God to be a part of your life, you will find Him. Read Ezekiel 18:19-32. It says God takes no pleasure in the death of one who dies and tells us to turn and live. He says If a righteous man turns from righteousness and begins a life of sin, he will surely die. If an evil man repents and turns to a life of righteousness, he will surely live!

Young man,
We have no way of knowing exactly. GOD expects us to read, study, and obey HIS WORD. The last statement that Christ probably made to HIS Apostles prior to HIS Ascension is found in Matthew 28:18-21 "the Great Commission. This is the reason that most Christians attempt to reach and teach others who are lost. I would suggest that you and I not try to do GOD's Minimum standard but to exceed HIS Expectations in every way possible. Christ will be sent to Judge each of us and I do not want to come up short of HIS GRACE, Do YOU?? I pray at every opportunity and ask that GOD forgive any sin that I may have inadvertantly committed. I also ask for HIM to assist others and to guide me in everything that I do. Have a wonderful week!
Thank you,
Eds, A Simple Christian

No degree of trying in our own strength gets anyone to heaven. We cannot earn our way. ONLY Jesus is the WAY to Heaven. God's Word tells us that in order to get to the Father God, we need to go thru His Son Jesus. God forgives us thru Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for our sins. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins so that we didn't have to pay the penalty for our sins which is spiritual death. We only have to believe and receive the free gift of salvation. We need to have an intimate relationship with Jesus by asking Him into our hearts and make Him Master of our life. Follow Him and obey Him. Pray and read the christian bible. God wants that no one should perish, but have everlasting life in heaven with Him. God in His mercy saved us thru Grace = God's riches at Christ's expense. We will be Christlike more and more as we grow in the Lord thru faithful living in Him. God bless!

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil." John 3:16-19 Yes, I will go to heaven because Jesus is Lord and died for my sins so that I may have a right relationship with the Father. For I have been saved by grace!

This life is a preparation for the next.
Percentages are a roman thing, lol, i think its a bout the state of our hearts. I've heard it said that God doesn't notice what we hold back from Him, but like a loving Father, gives great stock in what we offer to him with love.
It's all about love, dude, there is no substitute.

When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and when we repent which means to turn away from our sins. Then God accepts us as His adopted child. We are His. We will learn and grow in our walk with Him. He has taken us to be His own while we were still sinners, not at all perfect.
He came to the earth and died for you. That's how much He loves you. If you have accepted Him, no matter what you have done. You are saved! Right now!
If you have made Him your own, your love for Him will grow and you will do as He has asked because you are His child and you love Him and He loves you.
