I've had the 6MP Kodak Easyshare One for a few months now. Now, when I try and turn the camera on, the green light blinks several times and then stops. The camera actually never turns on, the lens doesn't extend, etc. I have tried fully charging the battery and that doesn't work either. Any input would be helpful! I have tried to call Kodak on several occassions and waited on the phone for over an hour with no answer.

Also sounds like a camera problem to me. Honestly, I think all Kodak Easyshare cameras are junk from the day they are new. I have seen LOTS of questions on these forums, and I do believe the Kodak Easyshare problems outnumber all others 5 times over. There are either problems with the camera itself, or the charging / download station, or the software. I suggest you put it aside as a lesson learned, and get a better camera. Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax... all these brands are not at the top of the game for no reason. Get one and you will be amazed at the night and day difference over that Kodak. Kodak makes great film, which I still often use, but their cameras are terrible. steve

Here is the support website. There is a chat window where you can talk immediately with support. What about your warranty, the company should have a year warranty you'll just have to send it back to them not the store.

Did you try completely new batteries? Sometimes they just wont charge! Another thing about batteries you have to have the right kind, The reason I say that is we were using those regular batteries cause I always thought a Duracell battery was the best thing ever. Well we could only take 3 or 4 pictures and nothing would happen except the green light either. It didn't have enough juice to extend the lens. The lithium battery is really the only that works correctly I now use the energizer Lithium and have had no more problems.

Kodak sucks. Mine did the same thing. I asked at the place I bought it and they said it was probably a power surge of some kind(they couldn't tell me from what) and there was nothing I could do about it. It now sits in a drawer. I just gave up on it. I tried their web site, but that was no help either. Sorry. I did end up buying a Cannon though and I'm much happier with it. Good Luck. P.S. I did try new batteries, nothing.

Try removing the batteries then either pluging your camera in with the AC adapter or the docking station. If your camera works with either one of these then you have a problem with either the batteries or the battery contacts. If your camera doesn't work with the AC adapter then you will have to send the camera in for repair.
