Initiation is the process of becoming a member of a group.

In Catholicism, full initiation means receiveing the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.

In 2005 alone there were 80,817 adult baptisms. And 73,684 baptized adults were received into full communion with the Church.

And that's only in the United States.

With love in Christ.

Initiation is what you go through to become a member. It depends on what kind of initiation you are talking about.
