since CLA is a fatty acid it has the potential of being used for energy so take it with your meals. you need to take about 6 grams daily for several months to notice any effect.

from my personal use of CLA and that of some of my gym buddies I find it more useful as a nutrient partitioning agent to help reduce body fat gains when in the mass gaining phase of a diet. if you are lean CLA will help to keep you that way with the proper diet. in terms of CLA as an actual fat loss supplement the more healthy that your diet is the more effective CLA will be
