projectors are the best. that 60 inch rear projection is a projector. the better ones cost allot. that infocus one is a little dim for me it depends how bright of an area your going to be using go to http://www.projectorcentral.com/ to learn more on the specs. dlp is the best to me lcd gets blotches the worst thing is you have to buy bulbs every so offen ie 4000 hours varies on model.

Infocus makes good products. HOWEVER, with all projectors, it is all about what you are using them for. Certain projectors are designed for Power Point and presentation use. Others claim they will reproduce High Definition, but in the real world they only do well with still frame video, not fast moving hi-def video. Also be aware of manufacturer's specifications. They mean nothing unless you are comparing products from the same manufacturer. There is no "3rd Party" or "FDA" that regulates contrast ratio, lumens, etc. I honestly think you get what you pay for, and if you think you are going to get as good of a picture out of a $1000 projector on a 90" screen 8 feet away as you would on a $2500 60" rear projection DLP or flat panel, you will be sorely mistaken.

There are pros and cons with this projector.

Pros
1) It's quiet than most projectors.
2) It has side ventilation, which means that you will not get heat waves in your projected image.
3) Looks cool.
4) It's cheap.
5) It has HDMI.

Cons
1) No Faroudja video processor. It's a Pixelworks video processor.
2) It's only 480p projector, not true HD. IN76 or IN78 models are true HD.
