My ex cheated on me for the third time and I recently broke it off. His ex best friend and I have been talking through myspace and he wants to take me out this weekend. His ex best friend really likes me and he makes me feel so much better when I'm sad. Should I do this? Why should I care about how my ex feels when he obviously didn't care about me when he cheated. Is this a good idea?

If you end up dating this guy, it should not be out of revenge. No matter who you date next, you should date him because he makes you happy and you want to be with him. If you still want revenge against your boyfriend for what he did, you probably still aren't over him and therefore aren't ready for another relationship yet anyway.

CAUTION!
Your ex-boy is not concerned about you.
I caution you too look for a motive if a freind of the ex-bf shows interest in you! You could be a victim or get hurt in ways not yet seen. What if you ex-bf is coaching his freind? If your ex-bf cared at all about you, cheating what would not have been an issue.
Revenge is not a reason (could be dangerous) for datiing anyone.

This is not a good idea at all. It's only going to cause a ton of unneeded drama and will most likely ruin her ex's and his best friends friendship. I'd just move on and leave your ex behind you. Be the bigger person and do what you feels right.

well if you are just interested in getting revenge then no you shouldn't ,because even if your ex did not care about you , this other guy who likes you didn't do anything to you and he probably really likes you ,so what about his feelings if you do this just for revenge then you are no better then your ex, latter

If his friend likes you that much, and you say he makes you feel better and you like him, then go out! What are you waiting for? Who cares what your ex thinks. Ignore him but let him see the two of you together if getting him back will make you feel better!

Definitely not. You should date someone because you are interested in him not because of taking revenge. You will end up hurting yourself. Forget about the past. It's time to move on. Your boyfriend is stupid for not appreciating you. But i'm sure there are other guys out there who do.
