So I've been seeing this guy for about a month. He had his arm around me, but I felt that he suddenly let go. He later told me that he saw the girl that he used to like for a year but never got the chance to go out with. I am so upset! What does this mean? I feel like he was ashamed to be with me.

You're wasting your time with this guy who isn't a real man, and is very inconsiderate. He shouldn't be leading you on when his interest is obviously elsewhere. It probably wasn't shame, but the fear that if this other girl knew you two were together from seeing him with his arm around you, it would surely mean that he was no longer available. Since he seems to not want this girl to know about the two of you, it's certain that he's not really serious about the relationship, and will probably end up just hurting you if you continue with him. You're not an object!

It sounds like his behavior was shameful, but it's hard to see how you reached the conclusion that he's ashamed to be with you. Also, his explanation makes no sense. So what if he saw someone he used to like, especially if he never went out with her. I wonder if he is seeing someone else and saw that person or someone who knows that he is dating that person.
It also makes me wonder if you have always believed you're not "good enough" to be with him. If so, you might want to work on that issue separate from him. At the same time, you might make it clear to him, IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS, that you will not tolerate his disrespectful treatment.

It means he still wants to be with her. He took his arm off of you so that he wouldn't be seen by her with you. You are probably choice number 3 or 4. If you happen to run into choice 1 or 2 the same thing will happen. I would take the scraps he hands you.

It means that if given the chance to go out with the other girl, he would in a heartbeat with no consideration of your feelings. He is just using you , kick him to the curb!

He was very inconsiderate of your feelings. I'm sure he was not ashamed to be seen with you, but hasn't dealt with his feelings for her. He didn't want her to see him with anyone, not just you. He is not ready for a relationship with anyone right now. You look for someone else who is available to you emotionally, as well as romantically, okay? Be honest with him about how he hurt your feelings, he can learn from that.

Awwwwww girl don't worry 'bout it the dude was prolly trying to front nothing else.

At least appreciate his honesty. Ask him what his intentions are with you, he may have liked her but was shot down and was just remembering. Like you have never liked another guy before?
