Hi, while your father probably read some anti-Masonic propaganda, I urge you to think for yourself in this matter. Freemasons must believe in a Supreme Being but they are in no way compelled to worship any God except the one that they themselves choose. That means that Freemasons can be Christians, Latter Day Saints, Jews, Muslims, Taoists, Hindus, even Wiccan. I have sat in Lodge with folks of all different religions. It is expressly forbidden to discuss religion, except that which all agree upon (a Loving and Caring God) in Lodge.

Freemasonry is not a religion but a system of morality. What is the difference? Religion seeks to explain the ways of God to mankind. Morality seeks to teach mankind how to act in regards to other women and men. We use symbols, mostly the tools of ancient stone masons, to illustrate our lessons. The nature of man is as hard to mold as stone. Wouldn't you agree? Especially older folks find it hard to change. Yet, in this age of the nuclear weapon and global extinction, it is very necessary for us to learn to apply the Golden Rule, to love each other, to deal fairly and honestly. That is what Freemasonry is about.

Something you may not know about but Freemasonry has Lodges where women are members. It is called American Co-Masonry. This is not Eastern Star but all the rights, rites, and priviledges of ancient Freemasonry.

The masons are not devil worshippers. Yes they do have some secret codes and signals but that does not mean they are evil. The masons have done much to help all kinds of people especially children (Shriners Hospitals) and the elderly (Mason Nursing Homes)

The Masonic Fraternity is in no way satainc or devil-worshipping. They are simply a group of men who acknowledge the differences of others. You don't have to be a certain religion to become a Mason either. You only have to believe in a Supreme Being. There could be devil-worshippers in the fraternity but, I doubt it. Most of the men in the fraternity are good chirstians. I know about 100 men who are Masons and none of them worship the devil. if you have anymore questions on Freemasonry, please feel free to contact me.

Your dad is right. Masons are Baal worshipers, most don't know it but Baden Powell who started the Guides, Brownies, Scouts, was a Mason. Thats why these groups teach that "doing good turns for others is important. As Masons progress up the levels of Masonery, they worship God, Jesus, Jesus and Satan and then they progress to just worshiping Satan. Most people who join the Masons don't realise what they are getting into, they just see the group as a "community based business group " who help other businesses and do good works. Sending children to these groups under the guise of "good works makes you a good person" is a lie of Satan, who uses these men for his own means. Go to www.contenderministries.org/newage and you can go to Freemasonry. Its a good site to find out about other new age or old age stuff too.

I asked a mason once-they are not devil worshipers just weird. Yes they have secret handshakes and symbols. They are getting their reward on earth because they most certainly are not Christians.

Masons are more religious than the Catholics. They were just demonized by the Catholics because Masons are finding out through scientific facts many aspects which the Catholics never wanted to agree with because it will be hard for them to accept the miracles before as technology today. Your dad must have been a very religious man of the Catholic Church.

That which is done secret will be revealed by the light.
People get a little edgy when you call them devil worshipers, but just who is that being they are worshiping? Just try mentioning the name of Jesus in their meetings and see how fast you get shut up. So, you can safely say who they are obviously not worshiping, then use your own deductive reasoning to fill in the blank.

Freemasonry is a fraternal organization with millions of members.[1] It exists in various forms worldwide, with shared moral and metaphysical ideals and in most of its branches requires a constitutional declaration of belief in a Supreme Being.[2]

Freemasonry is administratively organized into Grand Lodges (or sometimes Orients) that govern a particular jurisdiction made up of subordinate (or constituent) Lodges. Grand Lodges recognize each other through a process of landmarks and regularity. There are also appendant bodies, which are organizations related to the main branch of Freemasonry, but with their own independent administration.

Some masons may very well worship the devil, but that doesn't include all...

Do some research...knowledge is at your fingertips as we speak.

No, we are not devil worshipers.

Those who make the types of assumptions that you are talking about are making wild assumptions based on either ignorance, fabrication, misinformation or malice.

Your pentagram statement, is just as valid as my making the statement that, based on the American flag, the USA must be either:
A nation that worships 50 devils or
The union of 50 satanic states.

It's called:
IGNORANCE
and
FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN!
.
