i just got out of a 4 yr relationship and i was was wondering if it is too soon to start dating

You did not say how long you have been out of your relationship, nor did you say whether it was your decision or your partner's.
There is no time line for starting to date after a break up. The question is--Are you ready to start dating? Just be careful that you don't jump into a new relationship too soon. Give yourself time to get past the old one. Take care and good luck in your fresh start.

yeah i would say so. 4 years is a long time and it wouldn't be a good idea to jump in and start dating again because you are hurt from the breakup that you just had and you have feelings for this guy still and that alone is going to take a very long time to get over. you don't get over 4 years of your life like it is nothing. I would just hang out with friends and family for now because you need them to confide in. you are hurting and a new relationship is not a good idea just yet because you would only be trying to cover up the hurt that you are feeling

Probably not. Way too soon to take anyone seriously
though. The next guy you date is known as "the rebound guy"
For some reason it is very easy to get pregnant with the rebound guy, and then he isn't Mr. Right, and
you have a kid together for life. Be careful

If you started dating the next day then yes,but if you started to date about two weeks later then no.

yes, i think so. i think you should go out and have fun for a little while, not rush into things. plus, this may just be a rebound guy anyways. go out, have fun, do stuff you couldn't do.
