While I'm not one of those, I have known plenty who are. There are good Christian people who live a life of such constraint only because they are afraid of hell. I understand where they stand in all this. They are good people who maybe want to do things that their church or others don't approve of , and there's perfectly nothing wrong with what they want to do. When I was a Christian I didn't like being an assembly line robot. There truly is no individuality in religion. We are taught the same tenets and expected to be the same. That's living in a prison. Why can't people just love their god and live according to their hearts convictions without repercussions from the christian community.

I am a christian because the Lord put me here on the world to worship him. He made us and we're his children. It's kind of like saying do you love and follow you're parents rules so you don't get punished. The Lord will help you through even your worst situations. He answers my prayers whenever I need help, no matter what even if the situation is the biggest or the smallest problem, he is always there. I Love the Lord for everything he does and has done for me. When i'm upset he's there to comfort me. When I stray from him my life does not feel complete. He'll throw things in my life that'll help me go running back to him and I love him for everything he does for me=)

When I was younger, I would think, "If I go to hell it won't matter because nothing can stop me from loving God, from praying to God." That's because I used to think of hell as flames and horned demons and screaming and all that. But after awhile I've realized that hell is being without God. Apart from God.
I am a Christian because I can't bear the thought of being apart from Jesus...I feel such joy at the thought of Heaven because there I will, for eternity, be in His presence. His unobstructed presence.

I am a Christian because I believe Christianity to be true. My personal experiences and the experiences of loved ones have confirmed this belief. If Christianity is true, as I believe it to be, then it is the most important truth in existence. As such, it is a truth that has molded my very lifestyle and changed my identity. To remove this truth from my life would be to make me someone else.

im a christian because God has shown me love that no earthly being could show me. God protects me, takes care of all my needs. it never really mattered to me. i didnt pay attention if i went to hell or not. i didnt care..... until i become saved. && when christians say *saved* it really is being saved. i saw sooo many people change drastically as a person from being saved. i started to see it. and i was witnessed to more times then i can count. && finally i gave it all to him. I live for him. && i am a completely different person. i live by faith and his word. and that's all i need. that's all anyone needs. but they'll never see it cause they don't want to let go of their treasures here on earth.
there's soo much more... read the bible and u will see.

I am a Christian because i believe in God and that His son Jesus died for our sins and rose again. I also have had personal experiences where i have "felt" God and it is the most wonderful of experiences.
I know that for myself I have made the right choice and yes I do hope to go to Heaven, but I serve God because He deserves my praises and has made my life better.

i do not believe in hell in the same sence that others do. people mistake hell as being something that will last forever but it is my belief that the final fate of the condemned is death. they may suffer torment for some time but their ultimate fate is death.
just remember one thing: the price of sin is death. it is the reason we die in this life and i believe it is the reason after the ressurection (still being sinners) they will again die. but the second time it is a permanent death.

No, you are a Christian once you accept Jesus Christ as you Lord and Savior. (See Romans 5:8;6:23;and 10:13)

There is more. I find comfort in the fact that GOD provides all my needs and he is there to comfort me in the time of sorrow and weakness. He is a friend I can talk to.
