I use to ponder this and I thought that I could never have enough courage until the Holy Ghost came into my life. Remember when Peter denied Christ, it was before the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, but afterwards, he was as brave as a Lion. Now, I can honestly say that I would not deny Christ because I now know that He is alive and that He is in me and that we are one. If I would deny Him, I would end up in Hell. Why would I risk eternity in Heaven for a few short miserable years here. I want to go to Heaven as soon as I can.

Esther on Y/A gave a good answer to a similar question
She said
May I be rather honest with you? It's really easy to sit here at my desk and say, oh I'd never deny Jesus. Well.....if a cold piece of metal called a gun were in my face, would I be so brave? Consider Peter, who insisted he would never deny Christ and then did, three times.
I would pray to God, in fact I do right now....that no matter what happens, I would never deny the name of Jesus Christ.
I hope I am not plagiarizing her but it was a magnificent answer.

Wow! - Awesome question...
I thought about this for awhile and what I have concluded is that I would tell the truth in what I believe to be the truth.
I would do what ever it took/takes to save my children if that were ever to arise (let us hope it does not).
To save myself and only myself I would take pride and honor to acknowledge who I am and what I am. I do not feel that a belief or nor belief in something will stop the trigger from being pulled by another who chooses to pull it.

Depends what kind of mood I was in but, I would die instead of deny him. About 90% of the time I feel like that.

If my life depended on it: No I wouldn't. If somebody says to you deny Jesus and we'll let you live or if you don't we'll kill, the chances are real high that they'll kill you anyway, so NO I wouldn't deny Jesus.

i hope never.
Like Paul would say " Not I but Christ"
....end goal is to be conformed to Christ.
Peter's denial hapened so before God can convert his soul...a preparation ground where he was tried and tested. Such failures make up the Christian walk, come to realize that.
