There seem to be more and more of us all the time, so Christians have probably met at least one and just don't know or won't admit it. That's the way my ex's parents are. There's just no way they don't know, but nothing is ever said.

Which witch would that be? Nice or Xitch? Seriously, whatever you choose to do, as long as you harm no others, is up to you, if you have made a wrong choice, that's between you and God, no one else. If you are right and I'm wrong, then I'm the one looking foolish, no harm done. No, I never met an awful person who claimed to be a witch, I have met some who claimed to be Christian or other things. In some countries, such as Saudi Arabia or India, they still burn people alive that are accused of witchcraft, (needless to say, their neighbors aint Christians). I don't think much of King James, his persecution of witches was because he was afraid they knew he was an imposter, or why he censored certain behaviour he enjoyed from the Bible, a really GOOD witch would understand who and what he was.

G'day Morgana,
The craft is in the blood of all sentient life forms and I see many Christians who unwittingly use magic to witch other people negatively and do many cleansings of this sort of thing as a part of my devotion to the Mother/Father Being of all Creation. What the English call witch the German calls hex, the Haitian or Louisiane calls vodouin und so witte. Jesus did not rise again three days after his bio-shell expired with no help from the Women.
There is no name for the true Church, the true Faith, the fellowship of Knights of the Balance. If you can name it, you are not really in it. But I try anyway and just keep swimming like Dorie in "Finding Nemo". Keep your friends close but your enemies closer sister.
Namaste,

I've met plenty of them. I used to have a job where I was the only Christian and everybody else in the office was a self-described witch (mostly Wiccans, but other types, too). It was a fun workplace. Many people in this area describe themselves as witches, and they come in many different varieties. I generally have good dealings with them.

I love it. After reading the answers there is always that one who won't even try to get to know us. Unlike sushi, we are not a acquired taste. We are people first, loving and caring people second and we are probably the best example of what Christians should be. I forgive the guy who was a putz and wouldn't make friends. Goddess I feel so much better getting that off my chest!
A good witch since 1954!

I don't believe I have actually met a real witch, though a friend of mine (we don't really talk much anymore) I think believes in Wicca... or practices Wicca... whatever the correct term that you use with Wicca is (forgive my ignorance). I think it would be a very interesting experience though, I'm very fascinated with learning about the religions and beliefs of others.

Real witch as in flies on a broomstick and transforms to cats and what not? No. But ppl who practice wicca? yes. I have had a mix of experiences with them. Most yes are normal citizens cept for the 2 or 3 i met in high school (c/o 04) they were depressed cutters and threatend suicide for attention i believe. one was even christian and said God just stoppe answering her prayers and to me thats sad cuz seriously u cant always get what u want (rolling stone rock lol) and asked me flat out what has God done for me and i told her has given me a 2nd and currently 3rd chance of life since organ donation. I am not one to judge and say who goes to heavan and who goes to hell thats a manament postion, im just in sales. so i cant say ne thing but tell them y im christian......still lookin for a denom for me....leaning toward united methodists and catholic. in college the ppl who practiced wicca were more put together than the ones in hs maybe because it was "college" or they were a lil older or whatever.

There are people who prepare Vampirism, ingesting blood from prepared donors. there is likewise a Vampiric faith, I stumbled for the time of there internet site. Its no longer mainstream, and you need to pay for any fabric to study approximately them (So probable extra of a cult...). Vampirism is an entire sub-lifestyle, fairly exciting to examine in case you're curious.

Yes. We didn't talk much, but she was friendly. I've also visited with quite a few online. We don't ever agree on religion. I find their religion rather nonsensical, but we can get along outside of that. I don't feel Wicca is all that threatening.

Yes. But my experiences with wiccan witches, satanic witches, and voodoo witches are drastically different.
They aren't the same at all.
