I just dont understand. All my life i grew up going to church and being religious. I won't say that I am not religious because I have a great relationship with God. But I have not been to church in a long time. My mother trys to make me feel bad, but i just don't want to surround myself with those people. Not all are like this but alot are and I cannot stand it. They are so quick to tell everyone else what their sins are when they really need to concentrate on their own sins. Nobody is perfect, and I am not about to tell somebody else they need to repent for something, that is not my business. Its between them and God. Does anybody know what I am talking about? I just feel so confused.

I just want to get to Heaven after this trip on Planet School. I have a little time here and I must tend to the weeds in my own garden in order that I might be accepted by Jesus. The others, are like me, doing the same with their little time. Some people learn what to do themselves by putting the light on your short comings. Do not stop worshiping God because of some souls that do not know what they do. You can stay in your own room and call it your church. The church is within you. It is better to be Christlike than to be a Christian.

You are right on girl! I sometimes find myself judge mental at times and you re right, no one perfect. I'm a sinner, your a sinner everyone's a sinner. But its something that The Lord reveals in our hearts. Now I can't even imagine living a life without the forgiveness of God. I can't say that I always go to church every Sunday.

And what is it that makes a church? Its the people. You really don't have to go to church to worship God, you can do that anywhere. You can worship Him when you are at the gym, the grocery store, school, any where. And yes you might find some people who look at you like you're some kind of a weirdo, but you know what? We should not be ashamed of worshiping God, reading the Bible, sharing it with other people, and ministering. (Rom. 1:16)

I know that we all have our blind spots and I didn't know that I had any til the Lord revealed it to me in my heart, but its not like He one day just decided reveal it to us. Its something you have to ask from Him to reveal.

I do at times have a hard time accepting and loving other people for who they are and I really can't do without God's help. He has given me strength. God Bless!

Is it so wrong for me to tell someone the truth? If you saw someone stealing would you just let it slide? If you were to say "Hey put that back! You can't steal!" Would it be okay for me to say to you, "Stop being so judgemental!" I can have an opinion about things and not be judgemental. I am a sinner, I will never be perfect, but I think it's perfectly fine for me to be able to tell someone the truth of the matter and not have to tiptoe around people's feelings about being judgemental.

People are judgemental for many reasons--with the biggest one being that they ARE people. Meaning, this is just one of the many 'things' that people do and/or are.

You need to get used to it, as this isn't the only 'thing' that they do or don't do.

And it would appear to me that if you have as great a relationship with God that your claim to have, that you would already realize/know this?

...and essentially ask (or live) the adage of,

"...forgive them for they know not what they do..."

...instead of judging their judgementalness...
?

First that is what mothers do. Second if you are around people that are judgment move churches. It is not written in law that you have to stay at the same church as your parents.

Yes - Hypocrisy is so very disappointing.

Don't be confused - be an example for those who are on the wrong path rather than a hypocrite who thinks they're on the right one.

They haven't read the Bible. Judgement is the Lord's. Judge not Lest Ye be judged!

Sounds like Christians are angry at you because you are doing what Jesus said to do. In other words, they're angry that you aren't a hypocrit. Don't give in to them, you've got it right...

Differences bring about questions, and those questions bring about fear and even hatred. Its all about personal experiences and whatnot. But anyway
