"Our own religion is what life has taught us" William R. Inge

Made me think right away, according to this quote, if Atheists have no religion, then they must have learned nothing in life.

That's only according to that quote. You have an obsession with quotes my friend.

This is not correct! Atheists may know very much. They may have learned so much that they think that religion is without truth for them. We are able to rationalize anything we want and when something is not proven or we have a reason not to believe it is reinforced by reason or negativity, That will create a desire to believe in nothing. That does not say they are not good people or they are wrong. It is their truth and their free will choice. It does not say they have not learned anything from life. On the contrary, they may have learned too much in their perspective. So much that they have given up.
This is where faith comes in. There is also the influence from the dark forces to convince them that they are too smart to believe in such rubbish. We should respect and not judge them. You can lead a horse to water , but you can't make them drink, have you heard that before. Jesus said he was making us fishers of men. You throw out the bread of life as bait and there will be some fish that do not bite. Maybe later they will change their mind. But we should not poison the water because they don't bite. Give them time. If in the end we Christians are right about the words of Jesus, their demise will not be any skin off our nose.

um... if you are without a REAL religion, then religous matters for an athiest would be probebly what you just know in life. I wouldn't qualify that as a religion but that's where the quote appears to be aiming.

no, this quote supports the lack of validity organized churchs have.
their religion is based on what their life has taught them.
thats why different churchs believe different things. thats why there are different bibles and sects of religions

Wow, great logic. You are like the next Einstien! I guess I've learned nothing in life. Thank you so much! Oh wait I can't learn, sorry I forgot.

I don't agree...

Our religion is a guideline for living and learning, atheists are just people who don't need a template...

Seems like your own life has taught you very little.

That statement makes you sound like a very dense person, I would refrain from typing before you think.

Accurate, but it would be more accurate to say "We create our religion to fit our life".

"Ninety percent of everything is crud." --Theodore Sturgeon

According to this quote, you're about ten percent over your crud quota.
