Chex is a good choice. Espeically after a work out where you sweat a lot. Chex has a lot of sodium and it will be a great way to replace the sodium you lose in your sweat. Plus it has carbs and whihc will feed muscle and replace the sugar burned after running and lifting wieghts. Just don't over do it cause it is pure carbs and it will go straight to fat if you eat too much.

Yes, but don't eat a lot of it... just the right servings... It is always good to drink a lot of water while working out also stretch well and warm up for 10-15 minutes before starting to work out.

hope this helps.

It is better to avoid it. But a few wouldn;t cause any harm.
Better take some fruit juice or lemon juice after exercise, it will help in better burning out of your carbs.

there is nothing wrong with consuming carb after exercise. it's the one time when you don't have to worry about fat storage. however you would do much better eating something healthy vs a heavily processed food item. oatmeal, rice, beans, yams, etc. would all be much better food items to consume after exercise
