Well...for survival...the answer is no
in losing weight, the answer will be yes since honey is not a complete food. The good effect though is that it contains certain vitamins and also it has antioxidant property

Since honey is mainly composed of sugar, most microorganisms do not grow in honey also because of its low water activity. However, it is important to note that honey frequently contains dormant endospores of the bacteria Clostridium botulinum, which can be dangerous to infants as the endospores can transform into toxin-producing bacteria in the infant's immature intestinal tract, leading to illness and even

The problem with people that want to lose weight is that they think the best way to do it is by not eating. If you want to lose weight eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. What people don't realize is that most of what we're supposed to eat is fruit and vegetables anyway and not things like meat, which should be a small portion of what we eat. Fruit has a lot of water in it too which will help to make you feel full quicker. By eating too little you'll be missing out on the vitamins you need to stay healthy. You also should be exercising if you want to get your weight down because losing weight isn't just about eating less or eating better, you have to exercise at least a little to see some good results.

Your body needs certain nutrients to survive, if youre always hungry then youre not supplying the nutrients your body is craving. Thats why many people are overweight. Drink lots of water and dont eat carbs and protiens at the same time. Your body uses different enzymes to digest carbs and protiens if you eat em both at the same time your enzymes will cancel each other out and the food will not be digested properly. Youd be way better off eating lots of fresh greens like spinach, watercress, cabbage, silverbeets, etc etc you know the drill........ also nuts, some cereals and fruits like grapes, apples, oranges, bananas, berries (vitamin superfoods) etc. Lean meats like fish and chicken also. Honey as a sole food is a very stupid idea it would be the perfect food if you were a bee though.
