There’s no secret handshake, bizarre rituals or oaths of allegiance that you have to perform to become an Atheist. All that’s required is to open your minds to logic.

There is absolutely no evidence to prove that what a Hindu, Muslim or Mormon believes is true, just like there is no evidence to prove that what a Christian believes is true, yet each religion claims that only they are right. Clearly, logic dictates that what each religion believes cannot be true. Anyone who claims otherwise is denying logic.

Remember folks, Atheism is really just; A (freedom from) theism.

Regardless of who I side with, I have to reject the "logic" that what everyone claims is true negates all claims.
You can believe something with all your heart (whether it truly be a belief in something or lack thereof) and it can be false. In other words, objective truth exists, whether or not others deny it. Saying that multiple groups who carry this belief that only they are correct means that they are all wrong does not carry in itself substance. If there is a truth, one of them is right, and the others are wrong.

In short, claiming to know something does not make it so. I'm talking about belief, whatever you call it: belief that there is a God, or belief that there is no God.

Either way, you gotta have a little faith (even if you have faith in no faith).

What's often overlooked in these discussions is the obvious. The language of religion basically says it's not true because it asks it's believer to have faith and believe in things that they cannot empirically prove.
Truth on the other hand requires neither belief nor faith ; only empirically derived evidence.
I personally think that the religious folks would serve their cause better if they abandoned the "This is emperically true " line of reasoning and focused on the more spiritual and positive aspects of their beliefs.

Did you know you guys can be Atheists too? Yes I do know that. It's called free will, invested in every soul of God's creation. You too have this free will and God will not force you to your knees in the here and now. That He leaves up to you. However ........there will come a time when every knee will bend to God, good and evil, faithful and atheists alike.
You're free to think on that some more if you want.

There is every reason to believe in God. Throughout history he has performed great miracles, The jews were the first God revealed himself to, through miracles, signs prophecies ect. He has shown that he alone is God. The signs of God were remembered and written down along with the prophecies of the prophets ( the people through whom God communicates to his people). 2000 years ago a man named Jesus came and performed many miracles, nothing like the so called "miracles" performed today, Hundreds of people if not thousands witnessed and testified to this. The prophecies about him were fufilled (remember these were written a long time before the life of jesus) and the ultimate sign that he was the messiah/chritst was the ressurection. he showed himself to many and at one point over 500 people! at the time all these people testified about what they saw. after recieving the Holy spirit/spirit of God the apostles, completely believing what they taught (who is willing to sacrafice their life for something they believe is a lie i know i wouldnt) went out and preached the gospel (good news) and performed many miracles, there is a reason christianity spread so rapidly across the roman empire. as for non biblical evidence many jews and romans wrote letters about them agreeing with what the bible says.
the evidence concerning The existance of God is overwhelming, i will not explain in detail all the proof of his existence but i will say one thing. i hear all the time about atheists being open to "logic" yet they ignore all logic and refuse to even consider God is there. They surround themselves with this illusion that its all ribbish! its been altered too much to be usefull, yet the bible is considered valuable as an ancient historian source and they completely ignore the tens of thousands of ancient copies of the bible that are VERY similar. I would be suprised if there was any historical source that was as well preserved as the bible but of course atheists will not listen to this.

Yeah but I don't want to. I actually do have proof about Chritianity but because of your what you call 'logic', you won't even give me a chance. There's no proof against any other religion and most aspects of other religions are about faith. Anyway a short time after I die i'm going to get to enjoy no suffering...why would I give that up? You need to love everyone else the way they are like Christians and probably other religions.

Thanks for the tip, but I'll just stick with the truth rather than believe a lie. With my mind wide open. And with logic as well as faith.
