Well, he was creating the world, then night and day etc then when he sat back and saw that it was all good, he thought he'd have a crack at man.
Maybe he and the angels had deep and meaningful discussions about the nature of dissent. To prove a point, God created mankind, then gave them free will and watched them fight wars and stuff up their environment from then on.

assume in a math class you think of you have the respond. Your pal is busy inventing each and every sort of solutions till he has hundreds of solutions. Now he says to you that in view that there are maximum of incorrect solutions, yours could have a low risk of being maximum suitable. i assume i might ask if I made up hundreds of thousands of fake gods might that alter the risk in any respect? i think of this physique of ideas is beside the point. the only God that concerns me is the God who created me. No different gods choose word. If I enable that i'm created, i will see something with regard to the character of God in myself. as an occasion, I certainly have this great choose for meaning and purpose and that i know that without God there is not any purpose. I have been given that from the atheist Bertrand Russell by ability of how: “except you anticipate a God, the question of existence’s purpose is incomprehensible.” –Bertrand Russell i know that love is extra advantageous than indifference; compassion extra advantageous than apathy; mercy extra advantageous than revenge; justice extra advantageous than injustice. If God created me, I reason that He could have placed that understanding into me. as a result i know that He could have those traits in His very own character. i ought to flow on yet i don't have the time. e mail while you're extremely involved.

He's probably got countless other planets with different 'life-forms' going about their business in different ways.
Kind of like a scientific experiment where you separate your study into groups, give them different living conditions and see which ones come out most successful.
The angels are like lab technicians which keep close tabs on everything everyone is doing and update God during the weekly departmental meeting.

I believe that God always had us in mind and we are not an 'afterthought', but mindful choice.
And in preparation for us perhaps he was creating the rest of the universe--starting with the microcosm (atoms and molecules); then moved onto to the Mineral Kingdom, then the Plant Kingdom and then the Animal Kingdom--all in preparation for the Human Kingdom.
What next? The Kingdom Of God.
And, by definition if atoms exist in the atomic kingdom, molecules in the molecular kingdom; mineral in the mineral kingdom, plants in the plant kingdom, and humans in the human kingdom.
What/Who then has to inhabit the Kingdom Of God?
Is that the final kingdom? Nope.

he never created anything.only nature exists in the universe.god is merely a figment of the imagination of man to try and seek some purpose to their lives.you would have to be quite insane to believe some non entity made the universe.it is simply an act of nature.

It is alright to quote non-biblical doctrine?
LDS believe that God was once a man. So before God even THOUGHT of creating man, he was probably busy being one - albeit, a good one.

thinking and planning out the universe and angels to rule over the universe. as a result of Lucifer attempting to become God, he was cast down to earth. since angels are immortal and nonphysical, God created a plan for Humans to rule the universe. It must of taken millions of years for God to finally put humans into existence.

*I don't mean to offend anyone*
I believe "god" was a social reject from a higher life form than us and to escape his torment from his peers he decided to run into an insignificant rock hidden from view with 4 huge gas planets and 2 asteroid belts. Here he created his "minions" to compensate for his failures.
That's why in most holy books he always seems to be a sadistic megalomaniac who gets jealous very easily and gets a nack out of the suffering of his people.
