Heaven and hell are the only two places--there are no other options.

I've lost a sister and 9 friends in the last 10 years. I don't believe in God or heaven/hell. My sister and many of my friends that passed DID believe though. I hope for their sake (and mine) that they were right in their beliefs. Honestly, I don't have the answer though. I don't know what happens to us when we die. I feel like they're just gone. I don't know if I'll ever "reunite" with them. I would like to think that they're all in heaven waiting for me, but that's not enough to make me believe in God.

I lost my mother a couple years ago. I don't think she "went" anywhere, in the sense that she still exists as some form of consciousness somewhere. I think she just stopped existing. Death is the end of things.

I don't believe this because I'm sad or angry. I believe this because there's a good deal of evidence that our consciousness is irreparably tied to our material brains.

As far as the afterlife itself goes, there are many, many destinations. There is no “either-or” destination after death.

I'm hoping to go to one of the many halls is Asgard. But I wouldn't mind going to Hel either. Think of it as the Norse Underworld and in Jungian psychology it could be represented as the collective unconsciousness. Hel is not a place of fiery damnation, it is for the most part a place where souls go to rest and rejuvenate.

Basically my belief is that your own mind creates your reality in the afterlife. It can range any where from sunlight meadows decked with flowers to being confined in a venom-soaked cage depending on one’s deeds...depending on what you think you deserve. There is no eternal paradise or punishment.

I believe they rest until Judgment Day. Only you can make that decision that you can believe,But I would hope they will be in Heaven.

We do not know their hearts as the Lord did.
All I can say is, I pray they asked Jesus in their heart's before they left this earth. I loved everyone in my family(that's passed away) very much, but I could not pray them into Heaven. That, they had to settle with God themselves. Jesus Saves, Bless You

To Summerland or another place of rest and memories until returning to a new physical life. Perhaps to Valhalla, if they are warrior born.

It is hard to contain ones self in peace and harmony when faced with such gross stupidity, but one tries.

They go where they believe they have to go.
Whether Heaven or Hell or somewhere else it is their decision not mine.
