did he cause the home plate ump to make so many bad calls at my son's game tonight?

If so, how can we stop this madness?

Lighten up Aaron.....I'm hardly a troll. Do your research before throwing out insults.

Besides, it could be a genuine question....

There are many Gods......and Loki is one that is very mischievous. Perhaps you have been visited by a God. At least it is a great excuse for losing a game.

The Grace of God is such that however universal be the sway of agnosticism, yet there remains always one class of people who refuse to succumb to the allurement of earthly things and live to strive for the attainment of a higher divine Ideal. These are the seekers, the monks in their monasteries, the wandering mendicants, and preachers, the recluses in their meditative isolation and the ascetics absorbed in penances. They are found even today not only in the East but also in the Western countries.
God does exist and He cares about every detail of each person's existence. However, just because someone believes in God doesn't mean that their life will be perfect - He constantly tests us, especially when it comes to our belief in Him. And to answer your question, God doesn't interfare someone's decision making because He awards/punishes through our doings/deeds. He leaves the decisions up to us. He only hopes that we will make the right decisions in choosing Him or evil, so that we may live with Him in Divinity. BUT, all depend upon our Karmas ( good deed or bad deed). Many things you can't see but you do believe. Why ? Have faith first...............

Ahhh...the great debate. If God exists does He CONTROL everyone and everything or does He allow His creatures to have the FREEDOM OF CHOICE? I think there is a balance that exists where God allows people to make their own decisions, good or bad, and He uses those decisions to accomplish what He wants.

Give the ump a break or volunteer to do it yourself. Umps don't make much money (if any) and parents set very bad examples for their kids when they whine at the ump.

- Atheist and former ump.

you need a hug-sorry about your game-and I feel for your son too.

strange-I did it too in the past--questioned Jesus existenace and blamed him for things that went wrong
why do we blame God for things done wrong-God is a God of right-I know I made many bad calls in my life-called lying, and other sins-and I guess I felt God caused them too-till the day I repented from my own sins and let Jesus into my heart to help me and be my friend. John 3 repent of sin-even one lie and let Jesus in our heart to be born again.

best wishes for the next game-and take a video camera next time and show the head of the league if you feel cheated again. David

You can stop the madness by turning from your sins and receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Then you and your Son will receive God's Favor in your life.

i have a question... why do people continuously drag the Lord into their bad day and blame it on him??? for God so loved the world he gave his only son to forgive you of your sins. isnt that enough these days? do you think God makes everything perfect for people who have faith in him and turn their life to him??? umm no it dont work like that. and a baseball game? you guys get more and more ignorant every day. as jesus said, "father forgive them , for they know NOT what they do".
may the Lord make all that are blind see. && you WILL see that one day when us christians leave the earth and people without faith are stuck here during the nasty tribulations. may God have mercy on you. ill pray for you.
