even though its just friends? a friendship?
I mean, do girls like guys that are honest? I mean i'm talking with a girl "FRIEND" of mine and i feel some confusion between our communication sometimes...most recently...like i was suppose to go visit her at college but told her other things came up but didnt really explain to her what the reasons were...i want to tell her why i wasnt able to come down to visit her...because my cousin came to visit this past weekend...she texted me "where are you" and i told her im at home...like she expected me to be out of town or something...
if i sent her a message about it and was honest, would that be good or bad? does honesty attract a girl that doesnt like u more than a friend or it doesnt do much? i do like her but she appreciates me more because i told her what was going on...? she trusts me?

You did the right thing, and tell her exactly why you needed the time you spent with your cousin.... share with her the experience, she'll like you even more, and she'll know more about you and your cousin.
Girls like to be important in a relationship, even if she isn't the main focus, sharing the main focus with her will involve her enough for her to feel important in your relationship.
If you are always honest... she will always trust you!

Honesty is often the best policy. It depends on the person some dont want to be told the truth. But in this case it would be fine to tell her. She will appreciate that you didnt make up some lie.
If you cant be honest before the relationship then how are you going to manage when your in one?

treat her like u would like to be treated. Is the best saying ever. I know i would like to be told the truth. It doesnt attract me to a guy but knowing his honest is apart of the deal. same as friendship!

look if i knew nothing about girls (and i almost don't so yeah) i know that the whole honesty is the best policy thing is true in that since. their not going to like it if you lie and yes to some females that attract them to others it shows them your not afraid to tell the truth

tell, her. see where it goes. if she doesn't understand that you were seeing family, then you don't need her in your life. what other things would you miss out on if you stayed with her? How much do you think you would get to see of your family? if she gets upset that could only mean one thing. she wants you to bow down to her will and do as she says. if not then all is good and move on with yours and hers relationship.
