It is a dance fitness program. It combines aerobics, kickboxing, yoga and pilates into dance routines choreographed to music. In some locations, there are no class levels (i.e. beginner, intermediate, advanced) so you can sign up for the class that best suits your schedule. However, in some locations, there are specific classes such as Jazzercise Lite (for pregnancy and senior citizens), Junior (for children), Jazzercise Step, etc. Cost also varies according to who offers it and your location. We have a local church who offers it for $3 a session.

This form of exercise is lots of fun but don't let that fool you...it is an intensive aerobic workout that will improve your cardiovascular system, help you lose weight, help you burn fat and help you tone. But, since it is "dancing", it also makes exercising a lot of fun.
