Not sure what else you can do expect get blind drunk. You have my deepest sympathies, toothache is agony!!
There is an NHS emergency dentist service available, when I had my toothache I phoned up at 8am and got an appointment at 10am! I was amazed, phone NHS direct or look at their web site for the number.

Hey I Know about tooth pain .I tried everything and I found if you take a ibuprofen and let it desolve on the tooth it helps. Also take Ibuprofen .You can take up to four at a time so what I would do id take two every two hurs instead of four every four. Also if I desolved when one I would count that one of my two .I have also found out that its best to keep the pain killers in you because if you let it run out the pain gets to bad and its hard to get the pain back under control.Well I hope this helped you also I dont know where you live but there is a Dentist who is great in Lincolnton .He does do Emergency calls after hours but ask if possible to try to come during hours, but if its a true emergency he does not mind at all to help you .

swirling some salted water around your mouth will help, but not much in the short term. Clove oil is good, put some on a wad of cotton wool and place it next to the tooth. It will numb the pain a little.

Put a pinch of cloves against the tooth (try not to burn the gum) and see if that helps. It's a shame dentists don't see people on an as-needed schedule.

Obviously the answer is go to the dentist first thing tomorrow.
In the meantime - all painkillers are not created equal.
When I had a tooth taken out a couple of years ago I was in agony and got a lesson on painkillers from my doctor.
IGNORE any name-brand painkillers with fancy, shiny packaging or the words "extra" or "max" in the title.
Go to your nearest 24 hour pharmacist or large 24 hour supermarket and look for any painkillers with the following - 500mg Paracetamol and 8mg (or more) Codeine Phosphate. They are often called "Co-codamol".
Take two of them AND two 200mg Ibuprofen tablets.
(most people don't realise you can take paracetamol AND ibuprofen - or you can take paracetamol AND aspirin - but DON'T take aspirin and ibuprofen)
They often take up to 45 minutes to "kick in" but when they do they should tide you over for the next few hours.
Hope this helps.

If it's that bad... go to the hospital. Have a look online for the nearest dental hospital give them a call. Or ask your doctor or dentist on the emergency numbers..
No one should be in pain these days.

by take suitable precautions. Avoid eating
