Interesting question: In the bible it says in the last days the lost tribes of Israel will be gathered from the four corners of the earth and even the heavens. So it may be that God sent some of the tribes or a branch to a different world. In that case they would most likely have all the books of the Old Testament and worship the same God we do however they most likely would have a whole different religion and believe it to be more truth full than what we have. Or have Revelation stating which one was the true Religion.

Depends on the alien. If they are swayed into having faith in an all mighty deity than they'd probably like Christians, Buddhists, etc.

But if they don't believe because of lack of evidence, or because they've been in the heavens and saw that there was no divine being, then they would probably favor Atheists, Agnostics, and any other "free-thinking" religion.

Like people, it all depends on who your dealing with. I'm guessing aliens would be the same.

Unless they determine themselves the only intelligent life and determine us all idiots...after all, they are the ones that made it to another planet! :)

He/she/it wouldn't have much of a chance to speak, as the yanks would blow he/she/it to bits befor touching the ground.

Stupid Christian Right [Jews+christians] who have a hold over the state couldn't afford to have their religions shown up for the fancifull stories and controling entities that they really are. Not to mention the progressive Islamic Saudies who almost OWN America..

That'd be the "big 3" shut down in one fell swoop if the alien could get to the media..

The aliens would of course recognize that Jesus Christ is the son of God, and that Mohammed is his Prophet. They would immediately affix reproductions of the tablets containing the 10 commandments to each of their space ships, then go out into the The Universe on a Holy Jihad. They would destroy all their opposition using Zen Buddhist mental techniques and curses based on Kabbalah. All the survivors would be instructed in the way of the Tao. Then, performing penances described in The Bhagavad Gita, they would please the Lord Vishnu with their utter devotion, and he would grant them a Boon. They would then confer among themselves for a 100 years or so, meditating, and often spinning in circles like Sufis. They would then reach a conclusion, and present it to Vishnu. They would ask that the Lord Shiva be awakened, so that he would destroy the entire universe as we know it, that way, all consciousness would revert to its original, undeluded, non dual state.

Read "Stranger in a Strange Land" by Robert Heinlein. The main character (a human raised by Martians) returns to Earth and founds his OWN religion.

If an alien had the ability to find & land on this planet, they'd think NONE of us were particularly intelligent, as they're obviously far past our level.

It has already happened. -- Haven't you seen the T.V. commercials about the aliens who have come to see the great "Da-iry" and ask for some of his "Magic Elixir" that builds strong bones?
It seems that the lowly cow is regarded as our most intelligent life form.

I would have to agree with those who said they would not find any of us to be intelligent. The ability to travel out of a solar system in a timely manner appears to be way ahead of us.
